In 2000 the NESCOgroup developed, permitted, and began construction of the Goldendale power plant, a 245 megawatt electrical generation facility. The Goldendale plant consists of combined cycle natural gas turbine generator and heat recovery steam generator with a combined electrical output of 245 MW. It is located at Goldendale, Washington. The project was sold toCalpine Corporation while still under construction in 2001. Calpine then sold it to Puget Sound Energy. Total investment by the NESCOgroup at the time of the sale was approximately $35 million.
The project was owned and managed by the NESCOgroup and was financed by the NESCOgroup.
